It's like a new leash on life
Street smart honky with attitude
Sureness in his eyes
A once chance bulldog
This way of living sucks
Being straight I can't relate
Got a new watchdog today
Feeling paranoid with attitude
A man with the power to reach out
Can't be makin' any wrong
or bad mis-directions
18 months to smell or see the sunlight
without checking on the action
Got a new best friend today
Almost like going steady
Like to be ready Freddy
Badge like a G-man hanging on his neck
Probably has a gun if called on by heck
Yes I got a new PO today
Christmas has come early this year.
