BluesPoetry

BluesPoetry

My room is full of red
White wall and photos
Black and white images
Persian and Mexican rugs in red
An old black foot locker full of forgotten letters
assorted jackets and two handme down shirts
The light comes through the window where
a Vietnamese tapistry of red hangs to cut the bright light
Images of Iran and Peru adorn the wall
I am safe inside the walls
There is a peacefulness here
A containment of joy
Katie and Aramis watching over me
In the window a photo of mis padres
A joyful time so long ago
A time of wonder in a dry landscape
Cactus and arroys blue skies and beginnings
A water color of a Vietnamese boats
I want to sail on the high seas on that boat
I want to feel the tears of my childrens joys
To be washed in the spirit of their wholeness
To dream to smile To run with the bulls of Pamploma
Drink coffe with Hemmingway and kiss the flamico dancers
Yes my room is full of red and Sancho Panzo in black and white
